What we know about GTA VI is already intriguing. While gameplay details remain under wraps, we have confirmation of two main characters, Jason and Lucia, who are navigating life in Weiss City. Their attempt to make ends meet takes a dramatic turn when a robbery goes awry, thrusting them into a conspiracy that spans the entire Leonid state, the in-game representation of Florida. Much like the infamous duo Bonnie and Clyde, they will need to lean on each other to survive the chaos.

Several notable secondary characters have been introduced, including the drug dealer Brian Heder, bank robber Raul Bautista, and a powerful figure known as Real Daims. Additionally, Rockstar has revealed that the game will feature many new locations beyond just Weiss City.

The world of GTA VI promises to be expansive. Similar to GTA V, Weiss City will be a substantial part of a vast map that showcases the diverse natural environments of Leonid state. Players can expect to explore the stunning Leonida-Chis archipelago, complete with yacht access and diving opportunities, as well as the picturesque forests of Mount-Kalag National Park. In stark contrast, areas like the devastated Port Gellhorn resort and industrial wastelands will present a darker side of the game, filled with biker gangs on smoke-covered highways.

Weiss City itself returns, replacing the iconic Miami from GTA: Vice City (2003). However, the setting has been updated to modern times, moving away from the 1980s while still embodying the “sunny and entertaining capital of America,” according to Rockstar.

Stay tuned for the official release of Grand Theft Auto VI on May 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with a PC version anticipated to follow shortly after.
