Passionategeekz On June 19, Japanese media Sumaho Digest posted a blog post yesterday (June 18), reporting that Sony mayLaunched the Xperia 10 VII phone in October 2025.
Passionategeekz cited the blog post and reported that according to Sony Mobile’s 2025 Xperia product line plan, the Xperia 10 VII should have been released simultaneously with the flagship model Xperia 1 VII, but it has not officially debuted yet, and the latest news may have been postponed to October this year.
It is worth noting that this model has passed the review of multiple countries’ certification agencies. The disclosed OEM IDs include PM-1510-BV, PM-1511-BV, PM-1512-BV, PM-1513-BV, PM-1514-BV and PM-1515-BV, implying that it designs or supports multi-regional versions.
Recently, the Australian website “Is This Phone Blocked?” disclosed details of Xperia 10 VII. Among them, the OEM ID “PM-1510-BV” is clearly marked as the model of Xperia 10 VII, while the “PM-1513-BV” corresponds to the model of the SIM version of Japan “XQ-FE44”.
In comparison, the model of the 2025 flagship model Xperia 1 VII is “XQ-FSxx”, and the OEM ID starts with PM-150x-BV, which forms a clear distinction from the PM-151x-BV sequence of the Xperia 10 VII.
The OEM IDs (PM-1510-BV, PM-1511-BV, PM-1512-BV) that have not yet been assigned may correspond to customized versions of the three major operators in Japan. It is speculated that they are exclusive models of SoftBank (A502SO), au (SOG15) and NTT DOCOMO (SO-52F).
