In October, the Shabake animation series based on Hatanaka Megumi’s novels celebrates its premiere. With a first visual and a detailed introductory video, fans are now getting a foretaste of the atmospheric implementation. At the same time, details on the spokesmanship were announced.

The action takes place in historical Edo and revolves around Ichitarō, a sickly young man who solves mysterious crimes with the help of supernatural being. The central motif shows Ichitarō together with his two companions Ninkichi and Sasuke, while the introductory video presents freshly animated scenes around this trio. The video is accompanied by the pre -tension title “Inochi no Parēdo” (parade of life) of the Kujira group.

In the spokesman, Okino Kōji takes on the role of Ninkichi and describes the investigation around the mysterious cases as particularly exciting. Yashiro Taku, who lends Sasuke his voice, is enthusiastic about the animated implementation of the novel.

In addition, the official online portal of the series was revised and now offers detailed information about the characters. A special highlight for fans: On August 23, the first four episodes will be shown in Tokyo as part of an exclusive event. Registration for the event is possible from June 22nd to July 22nd.

Kaburaki Hiroko is responsible for the direction, the series is produced by Studio Zero-G. The artistic direction is at Kawashima Nana, while Yoshioka Tomoki provides music.
