[CNMO Technology News]According to whistleblower @OreXda, the early performance test results of Samsung’s new generation flagship chip Exynos 2600 have appeared in Geekbench 6. Its multi-core score not only surpasses Apple’s A18 Pro, but also close to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is eye-catching.

Initially, @OreXda said the chip scored 2400 in a single core and 9400 in a multi-core. But then he corrected the data and said that the real result was 2950 single cores and 10200 multi-cores. This means that compared with the previous generation Exynos 2400, the single-core performance is improved by about 15% and the multi-core performance is improved by about 20%, which is enough to compete with the strongest chips in the Android camp.

It is worth noting that the Exynos 2600 will be manufactured using its own 2nm process for the first time, and abandoning the past 10-core architecture, instead using an 8-core configuration of 2 Cortex-X cores + 6 Cortex-A cores, aiming to take into account high performance and energy efficiency control.

In terms of graphics performance, the Xclipse 960 GPU equipped with Exynos 2600 can reach 5,800 points in 3DMark Wild Life Extreme, and achieves about 85 frames in the GFXBench Aztec Ruins scenario, which means that its graphics processing capability will also make a significant leap forward.

Although there is currently no specific data on power consumption and heat generation control, from the perspective of running scores, Exynos 2600 has shown the “hard core” strength that Samsung’s flagship chip is rare in many years. The chip is expected to debut with the S26 series in early 2026, and will face the Apple A20, Qualcomm’s second-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite and MediaTek Dimensity 9500.
