OnePlus is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated OnePlus 13S in India 🇮🇳 on June 5, and the upcoming flagship is packing serious upgrades that could shake up the premium smartphone segment once again. With a sleek metal frame, powerful internals, and OnePlus’ signature clean design, the 13S is shaping up to be a top contender in 2025’s smartphone race.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 13S is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Qualcomm’s latest top-tier SoC, paired with UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring ultra-fast performance and smooth multitasking. The display is a 6.32-inch flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits peak brightness in High Brightness Mode (HBM), delivering crisp visuals even under harsh sunlight.
Camera-wise, OnePlus isn’t holding back. The phone features a dual 50MP setup on the back — a Sony IMX906 primary sensor with OIS and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens, promising flagship-grade photography. For selfies, there’s a 16MP front camera, though recent hints suggest a 32MP autofocus selfie shooter might be in the final build, aligning with the upgraded Snapdragon 8 Elite’s camera capabilities.
Battery life should be impressive too, with a massive 6260mAh cell and 80W fast charging, while keeping the weight at a comfortable 185 grams. Additional highlights include dual stereo speakers, an IR blaster, a customizable Plus Key, IP65 rating, and a software support commitment of 4 years of major Android updates and 5 years of security patches.
However, there are a couple of compromises. The device still sticks with USB 2.0 and only comes with IP65 dust and water resistance, which may disappoint some in the flagship segment.
While OnePlus hasn’t revealed the official price yet, a fair estimate would place it around ₹55,000, however tipster Abhishek Yadav said the price could be 49,999, considering the Snapdragon 8 Elite, refined design, and the brand’s positioning. The inclusion of a new cooling system, advanced AI features, and robust battery capacity adds further value, but a lower price point seems unlikely.

With the OnePlus 13S, the brand is clearly targeting enthusiasts who want flagship power with thoughtful features — without the ultra-premium pricing of Pro models. If you’re planning an upgrade this year, June 5 might be the date to mark on your calendar.
