Passionategeekz On June 20, Meta and Essilo jointly launched a brand new Oakley Meta HSTN (pronounced HOW-stuhn) smart glasses, starting at US$399 (Passionategeekz Note: the current exchange rate is approximately RMB 2,868), and the limited edition is US$499 (the current exchange rate is approximately RMB 3,587).

This glasses feature state-of-the-art Oakley PRIZM lenses combined with Oakley’s PRIZM Lens technology, designed to help athletes gain a clearer field of view in changing light and weather conditions.

According to reports, the battery life of Oakley Meta HSTN can reach 8 hours under normal use and the battery life of up to 19 hours; it also supports fast food, and can charge up to 50% in just 20 minutes. It also comes with a headphone-like charging case, with a comprehensive battery life of 48 hours.

The Oakley Meta HSTN uses a higher resolution 3K camera, supports IPX4 waterproofing, and uses the core features of Ray-Ban glasses, such as integrated open speakers, built-in dual microphones, and Meta AI personal assistant.

According to reports, athletes can obtain information about the current sports by asking AI assistants. For example, when playing golf, it tells the user how wind affects the hit? In addition, it can also help users record exciting moments, and users only need to say “Hey, Meta, take a video.”
