[CNMO Technology News]According to the digital blogger, the first running score data of MediaTek’s new generation flagship chip Dimensity 9500 was officially exposed. It can be seen that its GPU score reaches 15717, but the blogger emphasizes that there is not much reference value at present.
According to reports, the Geekbench 6 theoretical single-core running score of Dimensity 9500 is set at 3900+, and the multi-core score exceeds 11,000 points, achieving a significant leap from the previous Dimensity 9400 (single-core 3000+, multi-core 10,000+). In addition, Antutu’s running score is expected to exceed 4 million points, competing with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.
It is worth noting that the GPU performance of Dimensity 9500 is also impressive. According to reports, the integrated new Immortalis-Drage architecture GPU has significantly improved its ray tracing performance, and its computing power is expected to reach 100TOPS, far exceeding the previous generation Mali-G715. Although the currently exposed GPU running score data is 15717 points (based on 1MHz frequency), the blogger pointed out that the actual performance needs to be further verified after its official release in September.
Passionategeekz learned that Dimensity 9500 adopts a 1+3+4 full-large core architecture, including 1 Travis super-large core (3.23GHz), 3 Alto super-large cores (3.03GHz) and 4 Gelas large cores (2.23GHz), achieving the deployment of the full X9 architecture for the first time. This design combines TSMC’s third-generation 3nm N3P process, which not only improves the energy efficiency ratio, but also supports SME scalable matrix expansion instruction set to enhance AI computing capabilities. In addition, itsThe cache system has been further upgraded, the L3 cache has been expanded to 16MB, and the SLC cache has been increased to 10MB, which is equipped with 4 sets of LPDDR5X memory channels and four-channel UFS 4.1 flash memory.
The above blogger revealed that MediaTek plans to officially release Dimensity 9500 in September 2025, and it is expected that new phones from vivo and OPPO will be the first to be launched. It is reported that the first batch of models equipped include the vivo X300 series, OPPO Find X9 series and Honor Magic8 series.
