Passionategeekz On June 19, Li Xiang, CEO of Ideal Auto, just posted on Weibo that Ideal i8 will be released in late July, and now the internal preparations for Ideal i8 production, training, delivery and other preparations have reached the final preparation stage.
Passionategeekz noticed that Li Xiang also attached a video to Weibo, showing the dynamic driving scene of the Ideal I8 without disguise.
According to information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ideal i8 is positioned as a medium and large pure electric SUV, adopts a 6-seat layout, body size is 5085*1960*1740mm, and wheelbase is 3050mm.
From a design perspective, the car combines the design styles of MEGA and L series, adopts a closed front face, split headlights and through-type taillights, and the roof lines are relatively straight.
In terms of power, the entire Ideal i8 series is equipped with a dual-motor intelligent four-wheel drive system, with the maximum power of the front and rear motors being 150kW and 250kW respectively, the total power of the system reaches 400kW and the maximum speed is 180km/h.
The new car will be equipped with a 5C ternary lithium battery, which is available in two capacity versions: 90kWh and 98kWh. The CLTC operating range is 670km and 720km respectively, and the power consumption per 100 kilometers is only 13.4kWh, and it supports 10 minutes of fast charging of 500km.
In terms of configuration, the Ideal i8 will be equipped with Hesai ATL customized version of lidar, air suspension, dual screen, AR-HUD head-up display and other technological configurations, and the interior continues the family design style.
