Kuroshitsuji – Midori no Majo-hen – Episode 10

The episode begins with a flashback to Ciel’s psychological crisis: his trauma after the “curse” incident manifests itself in blindness and panic, reinforced by the miasma of the forest. Sebastian confronts him with the impending breach of contract if Ciel gives up his revenge. This forces Ciel to remember his actual motive – makes for his own satisfaction, not for others – and stabilizes his state of mind.

Back in the present, the escape escalates from the forest: Diederich warns Ciel of the German military presence and saves him from an attack by the tank – an experimental chain vehicle with a heavy cannon. While Baldroy and Snake flee to the railway depot with Diederich, Ciel takes over the defense of the tank with Sebastian.

Ciel analyzes the weaknesses of the tank (thin top, weight distribution) and orders Sebastian to destroy it. Sebastian first eliminates the accompanying infantry with valeros explosive devices, then infiltrates the vehicle and deposits a bomb in the interior. The tank becomes unusable by the explosion.

At the same time, the scythemen Ludger and Sascha observe this. Her notes reveal her interest in Ciel’s “interesting career” as a henchman of the crown and in Sebastians of demonic nature.
