Passionategeekz On June 22, Apple has set its video of “The Parent Presentation” that has been released on YouTube for only one day, which means the video is no longer visible.

In addition, Apple has lowered the video’s position on its “college student page” to the bottom, making it no longer conspicuous. Previously, the video was placed at the top of the page as an important display of marketing activities.

At present, Apple is not sure why it suddenly hid the ad, and it is not sure whether it will be re-launched. Apple has not responded to this yet.

Passionategeekz noticed that on social media, some viewers’ reviews of the “The Parent Presentation” video were negative, believing that its content was uncomfortable or too embarrassing. However, some viewers also discovered humor from the video.

This is not the first time Apple has removed YouTube videos due to poor advertising. It has had similar situations before, and even triggered a class action lawsuit.

The Parent Presentation is actually a customizable slide presentation designed to explain to parents why Macs are a practical tool for college students. The presentation is available in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides formats, and students can customize it to their individual needs and show it to parents to convince them to buy a Mac for themselves.

In a companion YouTube video shared by Apple, comedian Martin Herlihy showed a group of high school students how to use “parent presentations” effectively. It’s this video, which is now hidden.
