In first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, the per capita income of JD full-time takeaway riders has reached nearly 13,000 yuan. This data is an average based on the actual data drawn, but rider income varies depending on the degree of individual contribution. Xu Ran emphasized that compared with the full-time rider of JD Takeaway, riders’ income has increased significantly. JD.com did not deduct wages for paying social security, five insurances and one fund to full-time riders, but instead allowed riders to earn better income.
In terms of quality takeaway, JD.com has taken a series of strict measures. The industry’s first video verification function for LBS positioning is created. When merchants settle in, they need to upload videos of LBS positioning in the store to the end, so as to review the authenticity of merchants’ offline business premises online and eliminate “ghost takeaway”. At the same time, the online rider uploads the GPS positioning function, so that the rider’s meal pickup position can be checked with the merchant’s business license position. If the location does not match, the system will identify abnormalities and make every effort to ensure quality takeaway.
In addition, JD.com has also launched national supervision to riders, consumers and the media. If you find that the information uploaded by the restaurant does not match the actual situation, you can report it to JD.com, and JD.com will give rewards to the feedbacker. Xu Ran revealed that JD.com has pioneered the industry’s strictest entry standards, and the store review approval rate is only 40%. Although JD.com has more than one million merchants, it has not sacrificed the quality of audit for short-term business goals.
