[CNMO Technology News]In recent years, the smartphone image flagship market has been in a “massage competition”. Although the top models are equipped with luxury image configurations, the thickness and weight of the body are becoming increasingly prominent. According to the latest news, vivo’s next-generation imaging flagship X300 Ultra may break this dilemma, and achieve body thinning through innovative structural design, while maintaining flagship imaging performance.
According to reports, the vivo X300 Ultra will learn from the idea of OPPO’s dual periscope lens and adopt the “heterogeneous multi-periscope/multi-fold structure” technology. This solution optimizes the lens module layout and optical path design to achieve multifocal coverage in a limited space, thereby reducing the body protrusion and overall thickness. Compared with the traditional single periscope telephoto scheme, the multi-fold structure may compress the longitudinal space through prism reflection or folding mirror group, similar to the periscope zoom principle in the camera, but with higher complexity. If the technology is implemented, the X300 Ultra is expected to continue vivo’s advantages in the field of telephoto imaging while remaining light and thin.
For reference, the previous generation X200 Ultra is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition mobile platform, equipped with a 6.82-inch AMOLED curved screen, a resolution of 3168×1440, supports an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz, and is equipped with a three-camera combination of 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.69) + 50-megapixel wide-angle (f/2.0) + 200-megapixel periscope telephoto (f/2.27), supporting up to 105 times digital zoom, with a starting price of over 6,000 yuan.
