[CNMO Technology News]According to overseas media reports, ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia may plan to return to the Indian smartphone market and has obtained the certification of the Bureau of Standards (BIS) for three new phones – Nubia Neo 3, Focus 2 and Music 2.
Nubia entered the Indian market in 2015 and launched a variety of smartphones including the Nubia Z9 Mini, the Z11 Mini, and the Z11. However, after several years of development, Nubia gradually faded out of the Indian market. Nubia seems to intend to adopt a similar strategy to re-launch as brands such as Acer and Alcatel return to the Indian market through partnerships with local manufacturing companies in India.
The new Nubia models that have obtained BIS certification correspond to models Z2460, Z2462N and Z2464N respectively, and are produced by SkyQuad Electronics & Appliances Pvt. Ltd in Telangana. These devices have been available in other countries, and their certification in the Indian market shows that Nubia is preparing to challenge the Indian market again with these products.
The Nubia Neo 3 is a mobile phone for the entry-level market, equipped with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and is equipped with a Unisoc T8300 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. In addition, it also has a 6,000mAh large-capacity battery that supports 33W fast charging, a front 16MP camera, and a rear dual-camera system, including a 50MP main camera. To enhance the gaming experience, the phone is also equipped with RGB lighting and shoulder key design.
The Nubia Focus 2 5G is a cost-effective 5G smartphone, which uses a 6.7-inch IPS LCD screen and also has a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a Unisoc T760 chipset, equipped with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage, a built-in 5,000mAh battery and supports 22.5W fast charging. In terms of photography, the front 16MP camera and rear triple camera module, of which the main camera reaches 108MP.
