[CNMO Technology News]According to overseas media reports, Sony’s upcoming mid-range new Xperia 10 VII is expected to be launched in multiple markets around the world. Compared with the regional restriction strategy of the flagship Xperia 1 VII, this more affordable product may cover a wider market including North America, Europe and some Asian regions.
Previously, the Sony Xperia 1 VII has been officially released in some markets such as Japan, Europe and the United Kingdom, but has not been launched in North America. The information exposed this time shows that Xperia 10 VII will be launched in multiple regional versions, with models such as PM-1510-BV, PM-1511-BV, PM-1512-BV, PM-1513-BV, PM-1514-BV and PM-1515-BV respectively. One of the models also appeared on the device list on the website “Is This Phone Blocked”, further confirming the news that it will be launched in many countries.
According to existing leaks, Xperia 10 VII is expected to be released in October 2025. The phone will be equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which is an obvious upgrade compared to the 60Hz screen used by the previous Xperia 10 VI. In terms of imaging, the rear camera of the phone is 50-megapixel main camera, and its performance is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 mobile platform, with a built-in battery capacity of 5000mAh, and the overall positioning is mainly practical and battery life.
Analysis pointed out that while Sony is gradually shrinking its market coverage on the high-end Xperia series, it is expanding its layout in the mid-range product line, which may be due to strategic considerations to increase overall market share and brand influence. If the Xperia 10 VII is available in more regions, it will help enhance Sony’s competitiveness in the mid-range smartphone market.
