The Fed sets the tone, but just patience

The US Central Bank (the FED) recently kept the interest unchanged again, between 4.25% and 4.50%. That is now the fourth time in a row. As long as inflation (now 2.8%) remains above the desired level of 2%, cheap money remains scarce. And let that be important for the rise in altcoins. Raoul Pal calls it “The Banana Zone”.

But: the Fed hinted carefully this week on possible interest rate letings later this year. And that is crucial. As soon as the money tap opens again, a wave of capital can flow towards the cryptomarkt. Altcoins in particular often benefit the strongest.

And what about Bitcoin?

Altcoins rarely move away from Bitcoin. In fact, only when Bitcoin dominance decreases altcoins really get room to pop. Add new liquidity, and the ingredients for an Altcoin rally are perhaps complete.

What analysts also stand out is the Altcoin Index. This recently entered the so-called “4-Year Cycle Zone”. In 2017 and 2021 that was the starting signal for an Altcoin explosion. Of course the past is no guarantee for the future, but many experienced investors recognize the patterns and prepare themselves quietly.
