Infinix is gearing up to introduce its next-generation gaming smartphone to Indian consumers, with the Infinix GT 50 Pro tipped to debut domestically this month ahead of the Diwali festive shopping season (via 91mobiles and via GSMArena). The brand has already initiated an interactive community campaign that allows enthusiasts to unlock launch details, confirming that regional availability is around the corner.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Hardware Architecture and Gaming Capabilities
The Infinix GT 50 Pro is engineered around esports-centric performance and thermal management. The device centers on a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED LTPS display with a resolution of 1208 x 2644 pixels, an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, up to 4,500 nits of local peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Powering the handset is the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultimate octa-core processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Heat dissipation is handled by the HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture, designed to prevent thermal throttling during extended sessions of competitive multiplayer titles.
To deliver an authentic gaming experience, the chassis integrates capacitive Pressure-Sense GT Triggers along the side rail, giving mobile gamers tactile input for aiming and firing without external accessories. The rear panel carries a refined Cyber Mecha aesthetic with customizable RGB light effects that synchronize with gaming audio, incoming alerts, and charging states. For photography, the phone houses a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, along with a 13MP front-facing shooter. Battery endurance is backed by a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon cell supporting 45W wired fast charging, 10W reverse wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. Out of the box, the device operates on XOS 16 based on Android 16, backed by a commitment to multi-year operating system upgrades.
