The production of a second season of the anime series “Inaka No Ossan, Kensei Ni Naru” (English: “The Rural Man Baces a Sword Saint”) was officially confirmed. The sequel is planned for 2026.
The announcement was made immediately after the last episode of the first season was broadcast. On this occasion, a specially produced sequence for the announcement of production was published. The main spokesman, including Hiroaki Hirata in his role as Beryl Gardnert, also showed an accompanying video, while she shared news with the fans.
The original author Shigeru Sagasaki and Illustrator Tetsuhiro Nabeshima also spoke in writing and expressed their joy about the continuation of the series.
