Previously, Google has introduced similar features in the iOS version of Chrome browser. However, Google did not force all users to accept this change, but instead handed over the option to users, allowing them to freely set the location of the address bar according to their preferences.

According to Passionategeekz, users can long press the address bar and choose to move it to the bottom of the screen, or they can make relevant configurations in Chrome’s settings menu. This feature is popular with many users because the address bar is placed closer to the thumb when the user holds the phone, making it more comfortable when entering the URL.

Google said the feature will be launched gradually on Android devices starting today and will be open to all users in the coming weeks.
