Passionategeekz On June 21, GAC Group’s WeChat official account announced yesterday that GAC Indonesia’s smart factory was officially completed and put into production in Jakarta recently, and the first AION V was mass-produced and rolled off the production line. GAC said that the factory started with a capacity of 20,000 and planned to gradually expand to 50,000, and covers the needs of platforms such as pure electric and hybrid.

It is understood that the factory is compatibleSedans, SUVs, MPVs and more than 4 modelsquickly switch production lines in 30 minutes to achieve agile manufacturing; support intelligent filling equipment + process monitoring + result traceability to ensure zero defects in all aspects; use magazine batteries, cellular explosion-proof design and nano-aerogel, and abnormal charging can achieve millisecond power outage.

According to previous reports from Passionategeekz, in July last year, GAC Aion’s first overseas project was completed in Thailand, and AION V was launched globally. According to Zeng Qinghong, then chairman of GAC Group, GAC Aion will deploy 68 countries and regions, five core markets in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Central and South America, as well as three overseas factories, to achieve parallel vehicle exports and localized production.
