Passionategeekz June 22, according to China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, recently, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation First AcademyCompleted successfully AC313A helicopter fuel tank shaking airworthiness verification test.

According to reports, this test isCompleted for the first time in ChinaThe large-scale unsupported fuel tank swaying airworthiness verification test fills the industry gap in large-scale fuel tank swaying tests of more than 1,000 liters in China, and escorts the large-scale applications of my country’s general aviation equipment, emergency rescue helicopters, etc.

Passionategeekz learned from China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation that this test is a vibration and shaking composite test to verify whether the fuel tank can withstand various vibration and shaking loads that may be encountered during operation without leakage.Meet the requirements of CCAR-29-R2 “Airworthiness Regulations for Transport Rotorcraft”

The fuel tank in the test is a rubber oil tank with a volume of about 1245 liters. During the test, 2/3 of the effective volume of water medium must be charged into the fuel tank. The total weight of the fuel tank (water-containing medium) and the fuel tank tank is 1.3 tons.

The experiment took two weeks and was finally successfully completed. Mao Kai, head of the project team of Ruilai Company, affiliated to the Beijing Institute of Strength and Environment, introduced: “Such heavy big guy sways back and forth, generates huge inertia force, and the test is extremely difficult. After research and discussion, we decided to simulate various shaking and vibration coupling conditions of the helicopter by simultaneously excitating the servo hydraulic actuator and the electric vibration table to carry out shaking tests. This test method is applied to the shaking test of large fuel tanks. It’s the first time in China。”
