Continuation of Tokyo Revengers: New season for 2026 announced

The popular animation series Tokyo Revengers will continue in 2026 with the so-called three-day war adaptation (Three Days War ARC). A first introductory video already gives insights into the central scenes of the coming season: The members of the Tokyo-Manji gang can be seen after their dramatic conflict with the Tenjiku faction, as well as the surprising decision by leader Mikey. The video also contains a first dialogue between the new figure Kawaragi Senju, which Mariya ISE spoke.

Kawaragi Senju, which was first presented in design sketches and animation models, takes on a key role in the next season and thus expand the series of figures of the series by another exciting personality.

The announcements were made as part of Tokyo Revengers’ big five-year anniversary event, which took place in Tokyo on June 22nd. A surprise appearance by Mariya Isse, who officially presented her role as Senju for the first time.

The plot of the new season starts immediately after the conflict between Tokyo Manji and Tenjiku. Protagonist Takemichi initially reaches a future in which his partner Hinata lives – but a central figure remains disappearing. In a world that is now dominated by three rival groups (“era of the three factions”), Takemichi begins the last attempt to change the past.

Production is still at Studio Liden Films directed by Maki Kohira. The proven creative team for character design and music remains on board.
