Passionategeekz On June 24, Yu Yuanlin, general manager of Asus Computer Co., Ltd., showed it in detail in his new video of his B station account “Uncle Tony” yesterday. Design of BTF back plug 2.5 solution.

Previously, BTF 2.0 adopted the design of exposed GC-HPWR interface on the PCB body, and was transformed into a BTF 2.5 The PCB contains the powered gold finger, and then exposes the GC-HPWR through the adapter card.

GC-HPWR Adapter Card and Interface of Sample Card PCB in Extreme TestWithstands more than 1500W of power consumption(At this time, the reading voltage of the equipment is about 10.6V and the current is about 150A).

In addition to selecting only one of GC-HPWR and 12V-2×6 to get power, BTF 2.5 can also use these two power supply interfaces at the same time (Passionategeekz Note: The commercial version does not support it). At this time, the sample card PCB is tested. Can withstand 2000W+ power in a short time(Reference test equipment reading is close to 2150W).
