For the upcoming animation series “Food Court de, Mata Ashita” (English: “See You Tomorrow at the Food Court”), which is based on the graphic novel by Shinichirō Narie, new details have been announced. A second main advertising film gives further insights into the plot and gives a better impression of the atmosphere of the series. The final song entitled “Tonari Awase” (“Next to each other”) is sung by the two main characters Wada and Yamamoto, spoken by Hiyori Miyazaki and Yoshino Aoyama. Excerpts of the song can be heard in the new advertising film, while the complete digital version is published on July 8th.

At the center of the series is the special friendship between two students who could hardly be more different. Wada has a reserved and calm, whereas Yamamoto is often misunderstood by her conspicuous look. Despite these opposites, the two meet regularly after the lessons in the food court of a shopping center, which becomes the starting point of many humorous and touching experiences.

The creative team behind the series consists of director Kazuomi Koga and screenwriter Tōki Hanada. The studio Atelier Pontdarc is responsible for the animation. The series remains loyal to the template from Shueisha and focuses on the everyday but special moments in the life of the two students.
