Anime film “Sky: Two Lights-Part One” receives Japanese theatrical hiring with Kaji Yuuki as a narrator

For the Japanese cinema version of the animated film “Sky: Two Lights – Part One”, the well -known spokesman Kaji Yuuki was won as a narrator. Kaji, who already accompanies the associated video game “Sky: Children of the Light” as an official supporter, gives the theatrical version his voice in selected narrative passages.

In a newly released trailer, excerpts with Kaji’s narrative voice can be heard for the first time, accompanied by the Kotringo crush song. The film tells the original history of the internationally successful game “Sky: Children of the Light”, which deliberately does without spoken dialogues. The decision to add a narrator decreased to a long -cherished wish of the development team for Jenova Chen, co -founder of Thatgamompany.

In a statement, Kaji Yuuki commented on his initial concerns whether spoken words would fit the atmosphere of the otherwise wordless work. The implementation by the studio, however, convinced him – the world of “Sky” remains authentic and the basic idea is untouched.

The theatrical release of “Sky: Two Lights – Part One” is planned exclusively in Japanese cinemas for August 8th. Further venues will be announced at a later date. A new film poster, which is only available in Japan, was presented, which shows a child with a manati and bears the slogan “hope for the end of the world”.
