The Mangareihe Gōmon Baito-Kun No Nichijō, internationally known as “Torture Part-Time Workers’ Daily Life”, from Yawwora Tsugimi, received an anime adaptation as a television series in early 2026. First insights into the production and visual materials have already been published. The action is located in a dystopian world in which torture and killings have been socially accepted and legalized. The focus is on four young men who are employed in a company specializing in these practices. Each of them brings their own character into the narrative: a talkative newcomer ensures a breath of fresh air, while an efficiently working colleague can hardly hide his boredom. The team is complemented by a polite employee who hides sarcastic features behind its facade, and an employee whose way of working differs from that of his colleagues in some points. The everyday conversations that you do during your unusual work form the heart of the story, which is characterized by black humor. The anime is produced by the well -known studio White Fox, which has already gained attention through works such as “Re: Zero”. The speakers of the main characters include Shunichi Toki, Takuma Terashima, Taku Nagatsuka and Yōhei Azakami. The advertising material previously published shows the protagonists in typical work situations. The manga template appears regularly in the Young Animal Web Magazine.
