“Ame to Kimi to” (Rain and you): New key picture and speaker details for the coming-of-age anime unveiled

The upcoming anime series Ame to Kimi to (English Rain and You), based on the novel by Kō Nikaidō, starts on July 5, 2025 in TV-Asahi network (Numanimation), at BS Asahi and AT-X. In advance, an updated key visual and other speaking rollers were presented.

The new main motive focuses on protagonist Fuji and the mysterious being Kimi: Both look together into the rainyey sky, which impressively captures the atmospheric, melancholic mood of the series.

In addition to the picture, additional speaker castings were announced:

– Hiura (Fuji’s elementary school friend, now anime director): Shūhei Sakaguchi
– Hōjō (former classmate, today Hiura’s colleague): Komu Kōbe
– Arata (young manga artist, fan of Fuji’s novels): Yume Miyamoto

AME to Kimi to tells a moving coming-of-age story about Fuji, who meets the puzzling Kimi on a rainy day-an encounter that is supposed to change her life sustainably.
