The anticipation surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S26 series continues to grow, with recent reports now confirming a new launch timeline. Initially rumored for January or February 2026, the series is now set to debut in March 2026. However, the latest report from MoneyToday has revealed that Samsung plans to officially unveil its flagship Galaxy S26 lineup in San Francisco on February 25, 2026.

An official close to Samsung Electronics stated, “Since San Francisco has emerged as a center of AI technology, it is the optimal location for Samsung, which has ushered in the AI smartphone era, to hold its event.” This statement aligns with Samsung’s continued focus on integrating advanced AI-driven features into its upcoming flagship lineup.

The Galaxy S26 series will reportedly feature three models: the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra, marking the discontinuation of the Edge and Pro variants. According to industry sources, Samsung aims to streamline its product lineup while enhancing the AI performance and design of its flagship devices.

Under the hood, the Galaxy S26 series will be powered by the new Exynos 2600 SoC in most regions, while certain markets will receive the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (for Galaxy) versions. The Exynos 2600, built on Samsung’s 2nm GAA process, is designed to deliver superior AI and GPU performance compared to its predecessors.

Additionally, an Exynos S6568 chipset was recently spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website, indicating that it could be paired with the Exynos 2600 for enhanced connectivity and performance. The Exynos 2600 has also made multiple appearances on Geekbench, achieving a single-core score of 3455 and a multi-core score of 11621 — highlighting its substantial performance leap.

The Galaxy S26 lineup is expected to be the first to showcase Samsung’s refined AI features integrated with One UI 7, making it one of the most powerful AI-driven smartphone series to date. Fans can expect innovations in photography, real-time translation, and smarter automation across apps and devices.

Stay tuned for more updates and detailed specifications as Samsung approaches the highly anticipated February 25 launch event in San Francisco.
