[CNMO Technology News]Recently, Zhou Hongyi, chairman of 360 Group, appeared at the 2025 Summer Davos Forum and accepted an interview with reporters. When asked the question “Who is more influential or Lei Jun?” He responded frankly: “Of course, Mr. Lei has a greater influence.” He said that although this question is a bit ridiculous, he also emphasized that he still needs to learn from Lei Jun in many aspects.
In response to the current phenomenon that many older generation entrepreneurs actively “go online”, Zhou Hongyi pointed out that this has nothing to do with whether they have entrepreneurial spirit, but is an inevitable requirement for innovation. He believes that innovation has two key angles: First, we must have an in-depth understanding of user needs and communicate with them in the communication methods that users are familiar with, otherwise we will easily fall into self-enclosure; second, we must have practical results, not only do the products well, but also allow users to truly use these products, which requires enterprises to actively contact users and get close to the market.
Zhou Hongyi also mentioned that whether it is a startup company in the United States or China, one of the most effective ways to release new products is to promote it through short video and live broadcast platforms. “If you look at all the startups’ practices, you will find that short videos and live streaming are the most direct and effective communication channels,” he said.
In addition, Zhou Hongyi believes that Weibo is one of the important platforms for entrepreneurs to build personal IP. “Entrepreneurs hope that good things can be on the hot search.” He said that entrepreneurs should appear wherever ordinary users are active. Since users are following hot searches on Weibo and hot topics on short video platforms, entrepreneurs should use these platforms to speak out for enterprises and endorse products.
