The first details were published for the upcoming continuation of the popular “Rascal does not dream” series entitled “Rascal does not dream of a santa claus” (original: 青春ブタ野郎はサンタクロースの夢を見ない). The focus is on a new image motif, which focuses on the episode “Lost Singer” with which the new arc is opened. You can see the band leader Hirokawa Uzuki from Sweet Bullet, who is thoughtful in front of a microphone. The accompanying line of text “Is this really the place where I wanted to be?” already refers to the inner conflicts of the figure.

The opening sequence has the title “The adolescence never ends” and presents Sakuta Aszagawa with a new challenge. After a calm everyday university life is initially described, Sakuta is suddenly contacted by Toyohama Nodoka, who is worried about the solo career of her bandmate Uzuki. In the course of the episode, Sakuta also notices conspicuous behavior in Uzuki during class, which continues to drive the action.

As an accompanying material, two compressed contents are available on the official channels: “Rascal does not dream of a Knapsack Kid” and “Rascal does not dream of a sister venture out”. These make it possible to refresh the previous storylines again before the new series starts.

Production remains in the hands of Studio CloverWorks. The sequel is based on the literary submission of Hajime Kamoshida, which appears at ASCII Media Works. As in the previous parts, the presentation of young identity conflicts remains a central theme of the series.
