Anime series “Futari Solo Camping”: New content and music announcements

New details about production were published for the upcoming television series “Futari Solo Camping” (English: “Two person Solo Camping”), which is based on the work of Yūda Idehashi. Another central motif presents the two main characters, Mikagura Itsuki and Kusano Shizuku, as you can enjoy a nightly camping meal under a starry sky – a scene that already conveys much of the calm and atmospheric atmosphere of the series. In the now third advertising film, there are also insights into the actual action for the first time: viewers see how Itsuki is traveling alone and experience the first encounters with the inexperienced Shizuku, which marks the start of their shared experiences.

The series is accompanied musically by two specially produced songs. The opening song is entitled “Light in the distance” and comes from the Skirt group. Masayoshi ōishi and the band Special Others could be won together for the crediting song entitled “Two Camping”. Both music acts have commented on their participation in the project in separate statements and expressed their enthusiasm for the series.

The action focuses on Itsuki, an experienced single camper, whose usual routines are turned upside down by the unexpected encounter with Shizuku, which still has little experience with outdoor activities. While the story shows both its individual experiences and the developing connection between the two characters, the focus is on the calm, natural atmosphere of camping. The animation is created under the direction of the “Futari Solo Camping” production committee at Kōdansha specially put together for this project.
