New cooling details could make a difference in long gaming sessions
One of the biggest features is the built-in active cooling fan. iQOO says the tablet uses an Ice Dome cooling system with a total cooling area of 23,253mm². The 30 × 30 × 3.5mm fan supports three intelligent speed settings.
The fan works with the tablet’s wider cooling system to move heat away during demanding tasks. This is important for games that keep the processor and graphics hardware busy for long periods.
Active cooling may help the tablet manage heat more effectively, but real performance will depend on the game, room temperature, fan setting and power profile. Independent gaming tests will show how well it maintains frame rates during extended play.
165Hz OLED screen and dedicated gaming controls
The iQOO Pad Pro has an 8.8-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. A high refresh rate can make motion look smoother in supported games, while OLED technology can deliver strong contrast and deep blacks.
iQOO has also highlighted its Q-Flex control technology, high-sensitivity touch response and gyroscope controls. These features are aimed at players who need quick movement and accurate aiming, especially in first-person shooter games.
The compact size, 298g weight and 5.74mm thickness may also make the tablet easier to hold during handheld gaming than a larger tablet. Actual comfort will depend on the player’s grip and the game’s control layout.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Q3 gaming chip
The tablet pairs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with iQOO’s Q3 gaming chip. The main processor handles general computing and game workloads, while the dedicated chip is designed to support gaming-related processing and visual features.
This hardware combination places the Pad Pro below the more powerful iQOO Pad Ultra in the brand’s tablet lineup. The Pad Ultra uses a newer, higher-tier processor platform and a Q4 gaming chip, while the Pad Pro is aimed at users who want strong gaming hardware in a compact design.

9,020mAh battery in a compact body
The iQOO Pad Pro packs a 9,020mAh battery despite its slim body. This capacity could provide useful endurance for gaming, video playback and everyday use, although actual battery life will depend on screen brightness, refresh rate, network use and game settings.
A China 3C certification report has also pointed to support for up to 66W wired charging. This detail comes from certification information and should be treated separately from the features iQOO has highlighted in its official launch teasers.
Price and availability
iQOO will launch the Pad Pro in China on October 28, 2026, with sales beginning on launch day. The tablet is already reaching selected vivo and iQOO stores for early hands-on experiences.
The official price, RAM and storage options, and full retail details have not yet been announced. iQOO has also not confirmed an India launch or international availability.
Indian buyers should wait for an official regional announcement before making plans to purchase the tablet. Chinese pricing, if announced, should not be treated as an Indian retail price.
