The Beginning After The End – Episode 11

Arthur meets Cynthia Goodsky, director of the Xyrus Academy, who tests his magical potential. He demonstrates his skills in wind, fire, water and earth element magic, whereupon Cynthia confirms his extraordinary talent. Arthur suggests a deal: he will visit the academy in three years when Cynthia uses her political power in return to protect his family.

At home, Arthur reveals his parents Alice and Reynolds to travel as an adventurer. Alice initially rejects, but gives up when Arthur promises to return home regularly and explain his motives: he wants to explore the world and how to experience adventures in their youth. The Twinhorns are discussed as possible companions, with Jasmine voluntarily reporting.

At the same time, Lilia shows progress in her mana meditation, while Eleanor jealously begins her own exercises. Arthur is looking for a weapon in the Helstea auction house and with Sylvie’s help “Dawn’s Ballad”-a mysterious sword that adapts its weight and shape to Arthur’s body. Vincent gives him it after Arthur skilfully emphasized his apparent worthlessness.

Before his departure, Arthur celebrates his 9th birthday and receives meaningful gifts:

-Alice healing bracelets (Mana objects decorated with gemstones)
– Communication role from the Twinhorns (enables one -time news exchange)

The episode ends with Arthur’s farewell to the family. Together with Jasmine and Sylvie, he breaks up to register with the adventure engine.
