It was reported by SamMobile a few weeks ago, that Samsung would announce its Galaxy S22 Series in February. Now, according to Korean Publication DDaily, Samsung will be announcing it’s new Galaxy S22 Series of smartphones on 8th February 2022.
Prior to this, Ddaily has also revealed that the pre-orders of the new Samsung flagships will start from 9th February 2022.
The devices are expected to hit the stores around 24th February 2022.
Galaxy S22 Series Specifications
Not a while ago, numerous dummy images of the Galaxy S22 Series had surfaced online, and now, most of the specifications of the handsets have been revealed.
The Galaxy S22 will get a 6″ FHD+ DynamicAMOLED Display with a 120hz Refresh Rate. meanwhile, the Galaxy S22+ will get the same display, but with a bigger 6.5″ form factor. The Ultra, on the other hand will pack a massive 6.8″ LTPO QHD+ DynamicAMOLED display with 120hz Refresh Rate. All three smartphones will feature Snapdragon 8Gen1 5G (and Exynos 2200 5G for selected markets)
Talking about the cameras, the S21 and the S21+ will have an identical triple rear camera setup of 50MP +12MP +10MP with main, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses respectively. The Ultra will likely feature 108MP +12MP +10MP +10MP Quad Camera setup with main, ultrawide, telephoto, and telephoto lenses respectively. For selfies, the S21 and S21+ get a 10MP Single punchole camera whereas the Ultra gets a 32MP Selfie Camera.
Talking about the battery life, the S22, S22+ and the S22 Ultra will have a 3,700 mAh, 4,500 mAh and 5,000 mAh Battery respectively with 25W of fast charging support on S21 and S21 Plus. The Ultra might support upto 45W of fast charging, although none of the smartphones will ship with a charger inside the box.
