The OnePlus 13S is set to debut in India on June 5, and while it shares much of its design and core specifications with the China-exclusive OnePlus 13T, there are two significant hardware differences that potential buyers should know about.
Firstly, the OnePlus 13S comes equipped with a more powerful front-facing camera — a 32MP sensor capable of recording in 4K, which is a major leap from the 16MP shooter found in the OnePlus 13T. This makes the 13S more appealing to vloggers and selfie enthusiasts who prioritize high-resolution video and photo quality from the front lens.
Secondly, the battery setup has changed. The Indian variant (13S) is fitted with a 5,850mAh battery, slightly smaller than the 6,260mAh cell on the Chinese 13T model. While both phones support 80W wired fast charging, users opting for the 13T may benefit from marginally longer endurance due to the larger capacity.
Both devices retain the 50MP dual rear camera system with 2x telephoto zoom, but there is no upgrade to the zoom capabilities on either model. This means users looking for advanced zoom photography will not find any improvement between the two. On the software side, both are expected to run on the latest Android skin with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Elite processor, delivering top-tier performance.
For those keeping an eye on launch specifics, the OnePlus 13S will be officially unveiled in India on June 5, 2025. It is anticipated to arrive in multiple colors and will be positioned as a flagship offering tailored for the Indian market.
