Teyon and NACON are set to expand the universe of RoboCop: Rogue City with a brand-new standalone title, Rogue Unfinished Business, launching on July 17, 2025. Despite its appearance, this release is not merely downloadable content (DLC) but a fully independent game, meaning players do not need to own the original Rogue City to enjoy it.
Continuing the gritty narrative of Rogue City, Rogue Unfinished Business once again puts players in control of the legendary law enforcer, RoboCop, armed with his signature Auto-9 pistol, as he strives to uphold justice in the crime-ridden streets of Detroit.
A major highlight of this new installment is the deeper exploration of Alex Murphy’s past. Before becoming RoboCop, Murphy served as an ordinary police officer in Detroit, heroically falling during a raid against drug traffickers. Players will now experience a new layer of storytelling, diving into the human side of the iconic cyborg hero.
Adding to the excitement, Peter Weller — the original actor behind RoboCop in the classic films — reprises his role to voice Murphy, bringing authentic nostalgia and gravitas to the game.
Rogue Unfinished Business will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, complete with Simplified Chinese subtitles and interface support. Pricing details are yet to be announced.
As anticipation builds, fans of the RoboCop franchise and action gaming enthusiasts alike have a thrilling summer release to look forward to.
