Motorola has launched its most advanced foldable yet — the Razr 60 Ultra, known as the Razr Ultra 2025 in the US. It brings major improvements in design, performance, and usability, positioning itself as a serious flagship contender in the foldable space.
The phone features a large 6.9-inch foldable OLED display with FHD+ resolution, an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate, and up to 4500 nits of brightness, making it one of the brightest foldables available. On the outside, there’s a 4-inch OLED cover screen, also with 165Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic for added durability. Both screens are fully usable, letting users access apps, notifications, and even the camera without unfolding the device.
Under the hood, the Razr 60 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage globally, or 1TB storage in the US. It’s equipped with a 4700mAh battery, 68W wired charging, and 15W wireless charging.
Camera performance gets a boost with a 50MP front camera and a dual 50MP rear setup, including a primary lens with OIS and a secondary ultrawide/macro shooter. The foldable design allows the rear cameras to be used for selfies, thanks to the large and functional cover screen.
The device runs Android 15 out of the box, customized with Hello UI and enhanced by Moto AI for smarter, more responsive features. Motorola promises 3 years of Android upgrades and 4 years of security updates.
Built for durability, the Razr 60 Ultra has an IPX8 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual Dolby Atmos speakers, and x-axis haptics. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB-C, and support for 24 5G bands.
It weighs 199 grams, measures just 7.29mm when unfolded, and folds down to a compact 15.69mm thickness. Available in four striking colors — Scarab, Rio Red, Cabaret, and Mountain Trail — it blends style with utility.
Pricing starts at $1299 (~₹1,10,700) for the 1TB US variant, while the global 512GB version is priced at £1,099.99. With its premium specs, bold design, and practical improvements, the Razr 60 Ultra is easily one of the most impressive foldables on the market today.
