A high-powered new flagship with toned-down thermals? HONOR may be striking the perfect balance.
On May 2nd, a new HONOR smartphone under the model number DNP-NX9 surfaced on Geekbench, revealing key performance insights for what’s expected to be the upcoming HONOR 400 Pro. The leak, shared by reputable tech tipster @完美编排数码, indicates the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 underclocked version—a strategic move that could offer top-tier performance with better heat control and battery efficiency.
According to the Geekbench 6.4.0 results, the HONOR 400 Pro scored an impressive 2089 in single-core and 6032 in multi-core tests.
These figures suggest performance levels close to leading flagships while maintaining thermal efficiency, possibly appealing to users who prioritize sustained speed over short bursts of high power.
Previously, two other HONOR models—DNN-AN00 and DNP-AN00—passed China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) radio approval and 3C certification. These devices support 80W and 90W fast charging, respectively, further fueling speculation that they belong to the broader HONOR 400 series lineup.
While HONOR has yet to officially confirm the specs or launch timeline, this benchmark appearance signals that the HONOR 400 Pro is edging closer to release. With refined internals and powerful fast-charging capabilities, the new series is shaping up to be a strong contender in the 2025 flagship market.
