At MWC 2025, Tecno stunned attendees by revealing the Spark Slim—a futuristic smartphone concept boasting a jaw-dropping 5.75mm thickness, making it the thinnest smartphone ever introduced with a full-sized battery. The Tecno Spark Slim merges cutting-edge design with performance innovations, hinting at a new era for ultra-thin mobile devices.
The Spark Slim features a large 6.78-inch 3D-curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and brightness levels peaking around 4500 nits. The immersive screen is tailored for both gaming and multimedia, delivering crisp visuals and fluid animations even in daylight conditions.

Despite its impossibly thin frame, the device houses a powerful 5200mAh battery supported by 45W fast charging, made possible with Tecno’s latest silicon-carbon battery technology. This innovation not only improves charging efficiency but also allows for compact battery design without compromising capacity.
Now Looks Like Tecno is bringing its concept phone to the global market under POVA branding, as listed by Philippines retailer, The Storage options are also included as 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Tecno is yet to confirm its existance so we suggest to take this leak as pinch of salt, What we know about the Spark Slim as follows.

In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a dual rear setup featuring a 50MP main sensor and an elegant LED light strip, while the front boasts a 13MP selfie camera. The phone’s design utilizes recycled aluminum and stainless steel in a unibody structure, giving it a premium look while supporting environmental sustainability.
Internally, while the specific chipset remains under wraps, Tecno has hinted at a high-performance octa-core processor—possibly from the Snapdragon 7 Gen series—coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs on the latest Android 15 and supports modern standards like Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G, and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
While the Tecno Spark Slim remains a concept device for now, it demonstrates the company’s ambition to lead innovation in the thin smartphone segment. Tecno has yet to confirm commercial availability or pricing. Still, the Spark Slim sets a new benchmark for what’s possible in smartphone engineering, positioning itself as a direct challenger to upcoming ultra-thin flagships from Samsung and Apple.
