TECNO has officially shared the rollout timeline for its upcoming HiOS 16 update. The new version of HiOS will gradually arrive on several TECNO smartphones throughout 2026. The update schedule includes devices from the CAMON series, POVA lineup, and the premium Phantom foldable smartphones.

The rollout will begin in the second quarter of 2026 and will continue until the end of the year. TECNO mentioned that the update will be released in phases depending on the region, device model, and carrier availability. This means users may receive the update at slightly different times.

According to the official timeline, the rollout will start with the CAMON 40 series. Devices such as the TECNO CAMON 40, CAMON 40 Pro, CAMON 40 Pro 5G, and the CAMON 40 Premier 5G will receive the HiOS 16 update during Q2 2026.

During Q3 2026, TECNO plans to expand the update to more smartphones. This phase will include several models from the CAMON 30 series and the POVA lineup. The devices listed include TECNO CAMON 30, CAMON 30 5G, CAMON 30 Pro 5G, CAMON 30 Premier 5G, CAMON 30S, and CAMON 30S Pro.

In the same quarter, multiple POVA series smartphones will also receive the update. The list includes TECNO POVA Slim 5G, POVA 7 NEO, POVA 7, POVA 7 5G, POVA 7 Ultra 5G, POVA Curve 5G, and POVA 7 5G Pro.

The final phase of the rollout is planned for Q4 2026. TECNO’s premium foldable smartphones including the Phantom V Fold2 5G and Phantom V Flip2 5G are scheduled to receive the HiOS 16 update during this period.

TECNO has also clarified that the timeline is approximate and could change depending on development progress. Some features may vary between devices as certain capabilities depend on the hardware of each smartphone.

HiOS 16 is expected to bring improvements in system performance, user interface optimization, security enhancements, and new smart features to TECNO smartphones. More details about the new features are expected to be shared closer to the official rollout.
