OnePlus is preparing to introduce its next-generation flagship, the OnePlus 15, in India this November. While the brand has yet to officially reveal the release date, report suggest that the global launch event is scheduled for November 13, with the India debut taking place on the same day. Ahead of this, the smartphone is expected to first launch in China on October 27.

The OnePlus 15 will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, built on a 3nm architecture. This advanced chipset features an 8-core Oryon CPU with six performance cores clocked at 3.63GHz and two prime cores reaching up to 4.6GHz. According to Qualcomm, this setup delivers up to 20% better single-core and 17% improved multi-core performance compared to its predecessor. It also integrates an upgraded Hexagon NPU for AI tasks, which is 37% faster, and the Snapdragon X85 5G Modem-RF system for enhanced connectivity and efficiency.
Design leaks point to a durable aluminum frame with micro-arc oxidation treatment, which OnePlus claims is 3.4 times stronger than raw aluminum and even tougher than titanium. The device is also expected to sport a flat-panel display with ultra-narrow 1.15mm bezels, 165Hz refresh rate, and high brightness levels for immersive visuals.
The OnePlus 15 may launch in multiple configurations, starting at 16GB RAM with options for 12GB and 24GB models, alongside storage variants up to 1TB. Powering the phone could be a massive 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.
In terms of cameras, the upcoming flagship is rumored to feature a triple rear setup including a 50MP main OIS sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle lens for versatile photography. OnePlus has also teased a new Sand Storm color variant, though more finishes are expected at launch.
Pricing for the Indian market is speculated to fall between ₹65,000 and ₹70,000. Once launched, the OnePlus 15 will directly compete with other high-end flagships such as the realme GT 8 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S25, iQOO 15, and Apple’s iPhone 17 series.
