DJI has officially announced the Osmo Nano, its latest ultra-compact wearable action camera. Designed for maximum portability, the Osmo Nano is built around a two-part modular system consisting of a lightweight 52g main camera body and a detachable Multifunctional Vision Dock weighing 72g.

The main camera is waterproof up to 10 meters, while the dock carries an IPX4 rating, meaning it cannot be submerged. Inside, the Osmo Nano packs a new 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor capable of capturing images at 6880×5160 resolution with 13.5 stops of dynamic range. It offers a wide 143° field of view, a minimum focus distance of 35cm, and supports 4K video recording at up to 60fps, with slow-motion capture at 120fps. For creators, DJI has added 10-bit and D-Log M recording for enhanced post-production flexibility, along with RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonBalancing stabilization.
Photo capabilities include up to 35MP still images. Storage options start at 64GB and 128GB of built-in memory, with the dock allowing expansion via microSD up to 1TB. Battery life is another highlight, with the main camera’s 520mAh cell delivering up to 90 minutes of 1080p 24fps recording, while the dock’s larger 1300mAh battery extends that to 200 minutes with the display off. Charging requires connection to the dock and reaches 80% in just 20 minutes.
The dock also houses a 1.96-inch OLED touchscreen (314×556 resolution, 800 nits peak brightness) for live monitoring. This can be used both while the camera is attached and when separated wirelessly.
DJI has introduced a wide range of accessories to maximize mounting options. These include a Magnetic Hat Clip, Magnetic Lanyard, Magnetic Headband, and Magnetic Chest Strap for wearable setups. For more versatile mounting, there’s a Dual-Direction Magnetic Ball-Joint Adapter, a Dual-Direction Foldable Adapter Mount, and protective add-ons like a case, ND filter set, and Nano Glass Lens Cover.
The Osmo Nano is priced at €279 for the 64GB model and €309 for the 128GB variant. Both include the camera, Vision Dock, Magnetic Hat Clip, Magnetic Lanyard, Protective Case, USB-C PD cable, and Magnetic Ball-Joint Adapter Mount. Availability is limited at launch, with the device not releasing in the US initially.
