HMD has expanded its portfolio in India with the launch of three new devices – the HMD Vibe 5G, HMD 101 4G, and HMD 102 4G. The launch aims to cater to a diverse consumer base, offering both an affordable 5G smartphone and reliable 4G feature phones.
The HMD Vibe 5G is positioned as an entry-level 5G device, designed for consumers looking for next-generation connectivity at an accessible price point. It features a 6.67-inch HD+ 90Hz LCD screen, powered by the octa-core 6nm UNISOC T760 processor. The phone comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, expandable up to 256GB, and runs on Android 15 with two years of quarterly security updates. Optics include a 50MP primary camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front-facing camera. The device houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, and comes equipped with stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and 5G SA/NSA connectivity across nine bands.
Alongside the smartphone, HMD has also introduced two new feature phones. The HMD 101 4G and HMD 102 4G are compact devices with 2-inch QQVGA displays and Unisoc 8910 processors. Both models support FM Radio, MP3 playback, cloud apps, and local language support, with IP52-rated dust and splash resistance. The HMD 102 4G offers an additional QVGA camera with flash and a stylish design featuring a matching color keypad. Both come with USB Type-C charging and a 1,000mAh removable battery.
In terms of pricing, the HMD Vibe 5G is available in Black and Purple at a festive launch price of Rs. 8,999. The HMD 101 4G is priced at Rs. 1,899, while the HMD 102 4G costs Rs. 2,199. Color options include Dark Blue, Red, and Blue for the 101, and Dark Blue, Red, and Purple for the 102. All three devices will be available starting today, September 11, 2025, via leading retail stores, major e-commerce platforms, and HMD.com.
