Recently leaked images of the alleged iPhone 17 Pro have surfaced on social media, showcasing a striking camera redesign and triggering a wave of curiosity in the tech community. Apple is expected to unveil four models under the new series — iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The leaked photos, shared by a known Twitter (X) user, show a person holding two iPhones. One of the devices appears to be partially covered but reveals a new circular camera module that may house the flash and LiDAR sensor. Bloomberg’s trusted journalist Mark Gurman reposted the leak, commenting, “This looks legit,” hinting the device could indeed be the real iPhone 17 Pro.
The iPhone 17 Pro could introduce a significant camera upgrade with a new 8x adjustable optical zoom telephoto lens, a notable jump from the 5x zoom seen in the iPhone 16 Pro. This advanced lens is expected to offer greater flexibility while zooming. Additionally, Apple might introduce a professional-grade camera app to rival third-party apps like Halide and Filmic Pro. Rumors also suggest the inclusion of a dedicated shortcut button for camera controls on the device’s side.
In terms of pricing, Apple might break its own records in India. The expected prices are as follows:
- iPhone 17 – ₹79,900
- iPhone 17 Air – ₹99,900 (expected to replace the ‘Plus’ variant)
- iPhone 17 Pro – ₹1,45,000
- iPhone 17 Pro Max – ₹1,64,900
Of particular interest is the iPhone 17 Air, a new addition to Apple’s lineup. Designed to replace the Plus variant, this model is likely to feature a slimmer and lighter profile, offering a premium feel at a more accessible price. Apple appears to be targeting mid-premium segment users with this variant.
