Noise has partnered with music streaming platform Gaana to launch the Buds R1 Gaana Edition in India. The new earbuds cost ₹1,399 and include a free one-year Gaana Plus subscription worth ₹799.
The deal combines an affordable pair of wireless earbuds with a music subscription. It may appeal to people who want a simple audio product without paying for a separate streaming plan immediately.
11mm Drivers and Quad-Mic ENC
The Buds R1 Gaana Edition uses 11mm dynamic drivers. Noise says the drivers are designed to deliver strong bass and clear sound for music and videos.
The earbuds also have four microphones with Environmental Noise Cancellation. This is designed to reduce background noise during calls, although real call quality will depend on the user’s surroundings.
Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.3 and Noise’s HyperSync technology. The earbuds also support a low-latency gaming mode rated at 40ms and have an IPX5 rating for resistance to sweat and water splashes.
Up to 40 Hours of Battery Life
Noise claims up to 40 hours of total playback with the charging case. Its InstaCharge feature is rated to provide up to 120 minutes of playback after a 10-minute charge.
Battery results can change with volume, calls and other settings. The one-year Gaana Plus plan is included with the purchase and offers ad-free music, HD audio and offline downloads.
Master Buds Open Also Reports Strong Early Sales
Noise has also said that its Master Buds Open sold 10,000 units in the first hour after its 27 October launch. This is a company-reported figure and has not been independently audited.
The Master Buds Open uses an open-ear C-bridge design, 10.8mm drivers and sound tuning developed with Bose. It is designed for people who want to hear some of their surroundings while listening to audio.
Price and Availability
The Noise Buds R1 Gaana Edition is priced at ₹1,399 in India. It is listed through Noise’s official website and Gaana’s website and app.

Passionategeekz Take
The Buds R1 Gaana Edition is an interesting budget audio bundle. Its 40-hour battery claim and free music subscription give it a clear selling point at ₹1,399. The Master Buds Open sales report also suggests that open-ear audio is getting more attention in India. Buyers should still compare sound, comfort and call quality before choosing.
