Apple has announced a major update for Creator Studio. The new features are coming to video editing, music production, image editing and productivity apps. The update focuses on helping creators finish work faster. It adds new effects, AI-powered editing tools and assistants that can understand what users are working on.

Final Cut Pro Gets More Creative Tools

Final Cut Pro for Mac now includes built-in MotionVFX content. This gives editors access to more effects, transitions, titles, templates and motion graphics.

Apple is adding more editing and AI features across its Creator Studio apps

Apple is also adding a Content Hub with stock video, photos and backgrounds. Editors can find these assets inside Final Cut Pro without leaving the app.

Another useful change connects Final Cut Pro with Pixelmator Pro. Users can open an image from their video timeline, edit it and save the changes back into the project.

Pixelmator Pro Adds Generate Fill

Pixelmator Pro is getting a new feature called Generate Fill. Users can select an area of an image and describe what they want to add or change.

The tool uses AI to create new content that tries to match the lighting, perspective and texture of the surrounding image. It can also place generated elements on separate layers for further editing.

This could help creators make quick changes to product images, social media graphics and other visual content.

Logic Pro Gets an AI Assistant

Logic Pro is receiving a new intelligent assistant in beta. It can help users start a song, set up a vocal track and work through music production tasks.

The app also gets an improved sound browser and a better Stem Splitter. The updated tool can separate drums, giving music creators more control over audio tracks.

AI Comes to Keynote, Pages and Numbers

Apple is also adding AI assistants to Keynote, Pages and Numbers. These tools can understand the content of a document and help users create or improve their work.

Keynote can help with slide design and animation. Pages can assist with writing and editing. Numbers can help organise data, create tables and suggest charts.

The apps are also adding Model Context Protocol support. This allows supported external AI agents and tools to read content and perform approved actions inside the apps.

Availability

Apple says the Creator Studio update will arrive in November 2026. Existing subscribers will receive the update for free.
