Tecno is preparing to expand its POVA lineup in India once again. In an exclusive development, PassionateGeekz has spotted the upcoming Tecno POVA 8 Pro 5G on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, confirming that the smartphone is heading to the Indian market soon.
According to the BIS database, the upcoming Tecno smartphone carries the model number LK7 and received certification on July 8, 2026. While the listing doesn’t reveal hardware specifications, it confirms that the device has been approved for sale in India.
This comes shortly after the global debut of the POVA 8 Pro 5G, making an India launch appear imminent.
One of the biggest highlights of the POVA 8 Pro 5G is its Alive Matrix Display, an intelligent LED lighting system integrated around the rear camera module. The lighting can display charging animations, incoming calls, notifications, and other system alerts, giving the device a distinctive gaming-inspired appearance.

As of now, Tecno has not officially announced the India launch date or pricing.
